詳情 :

The General Practice Division (GPD) Council initiated a review of the HKIS Valuation Standards 2012 Edition with regard to two newly launched standards – International Valuation Standards 2017 and RICS Valuation – Global Standards 2017.

The HKIS Valuation Standards 2017 (“the Standards”) were approved by the General Council on 9 October 2017, and ratified by resolution at the General Meeting on 8 December 2017. The Standards aims to provide appropriate directions or guidance to members so that the valuations/reports prepared by them can achieve the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, clarity, reliability and impartiality; and that the valuations/reports are prepared in accordance with the recognised bases that are appropriate for the purposes of their preparations.

The Standards will replace the HKIS Valuation Standards 2012 Edition and will come into effect on 30 December 2017.

The Standards is mandatory in nature to members of the HKIS, and shall be applied to the valuation reports prepared in respect of all properties to be included in any documents or to be used for any other purposes as referred to in the Standards and to all valuations where the valuation date is on or after the effective date. Through stringent compliance with the Standards, valuation services that are carried out by Corporate Members of the HKIS can be assured of the best quality and standards. Members would be advised to adopt the new Standards.

The soft copy of the HKIS Valuation Standards 2017 is available from the HKIS website at www.hkis.org.hk (under Publications for Sale/Download ). Hard copies will also be available for purchase from 8 January 2018 at HK$800 from the HKIS Secretariat.
