Sr Wu is the Co-Founder of QnS Consultancy Limited which provides integrated consultancy services including Building Information Modelling, Building Environmental Assessment Method (BEAM) Plus, Quantity Surveying and Risk Management. He has almost 30 years real estate and construction project development and cost control experiences in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Sr Wu is a fellow member the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Registered Professional Surveyor (Quantity Surveying Division) and professional member of the Hong Kong Institute of Building Modelling, the British Computer Society and other professional institutes. He also holds bachelor degrees and master degrees in mathematics, computer science, e-commerce, project management, business administration, quantitative analysis and computation mathematics.

Sr Wu was the committee member of HKIS QSD and the chairman of QSD BIM Sub-committee.

Surveyors are often responsible for managing construction projects.  To manage a project effectively, surveyors need to know how to make rational choices in project management. 

 

Speaker of this CPD event will share with real life example some basics concept and quantitative analysis tools which help surveyors make better decisions which includes introduction to project decision analysis, decision framing, modeling the situation and quantitative analysis such as: sensitivity analysis and correlations, decision trees, PERT and monte carlo simulation and etc. 

    

This CPD even aims to help participants acquire the essential knowledge and skills required for effective project decision making.
